The Debonair One. Best friend of Ari Gold, his “twin.”

Baxter is Tulip’s boyfriend. Hilariously self-possessed. A leader among small dogs. He and Ari never stop tumbling together. Baxter was with us many months before Ari Gold joined our pack. The second we met Ari we were gobsmacked at how much he resembled Baxter. Baxter was a tiny puppy of three months when he joined our pack and adorable in his finery and brilliant haircuts. Always self-possessed he seemed to always know where he was going and had a “mission” the second he hit the park, looking for things, nosing the ground, checking out every other dog, including the hottest girl in the group, Tulip, the sweet pie.  He and Tulip spent a lot of time chasing one another and playing together before Ari came, and now the three of them ignore the big dogs and are a small pack of their own.

We kept sending pics of Ari to Baxter’s mom and pics of Baxter to Ari’s mom and dad. Both couples were astonished at the resemblance and how the two seemed to view one another, in the pics of them tumbling and wrestling together, as litter mates. One day, a miracle happened. Baxter’s mom and Ari’s grandma had the pups at a fair together at coincidentally the same time. What do you know, they started chatting and voila. They had heard all about the other via us.

Independent, cute as a button, hilariously self-possessed, and snazzily dressed and coiffed, Baxter is a stunner.
